sessions for psychologist parents

Family-friendly peer consultation that supports you in this season.

These fortnightly, online peer consultation sessions are created with parents in mind — no need to arrange childcare. Connect with others who understand the juggle of reduced practice hours and raising a family, while finding support, shared insight, and a sense of community.

Are you currently prioritising your family or working in the margins of parenting?

Perhaps you’re on parental leave and don’t have access to your usual peer consultation or don’t have cases to discuss. You might be in a busy or demanding stage of parenting and you’ve scaled your practice right down to a handful of clients. Maybe you’re a psychologist parent setting up more flexible alternatives to 1:1 services and aren’t seeing clients right now.

Whatever your situation is, it can be difficult to find peer consultation that aligns with your needs when you’re working in a different way to the majority.

Join an online group that meets your current peer consultation needs.

The family-friendly set up:

  • Small group (between 2-5)
  • Fortnightly, convenient, online sessions
  • Calendar aligns with Victorian school terms (no sessions in school holidays)
  • No need for childminding – kids are welcome
  • Relaxed and flexible – show up if you can, don’t stress if you can’t

Peer consultation membership

This group contributes towards my peer consultation requirements so I participate as a group member rather than ‘supervise’. But I take on all the administrative tasks (see inclusions list below) so that you only need to show up as the compassionate psychologist that you are!

Meet the organiser

Hi! I’m Natalie

I’m an online psychologist, mum of two, a wife, nature lover, and creative at heart.

I have a Master’s degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology and experience in hospital and school settings. Navigating the transition to motherhood inspired me to shift gears and start a private practice dedicated to supporting other parents.

Figuring out how to balance family needs and professional needs is an ongoing challenge, and I know I’m not alone! In offering this peer supervision format, I hope to help other psychologist parents feel seen and supported in this season of life.
