one-on-one parenting support

Helping you find more calm, connection and alignment in family life.

Through parenting support sessions, I help you clarify your goals, understand your experiences more deeply, connect with your child’s inner world, and learn evidence-based strategies to create meaningful change aligned with your values.

Parents seek my support because aspects of family life feel challenging, and they’re tired of struggling alone.

Sometimes, parents don’t feel they’re showing up in the way they want. They feel more stressed, frustrated, anxious, or overwhelmed than they’d like. They might be feeling easily triggered by their child’s feelings or behaviours. Or they struggle with self-doubt and feeling they’re not enough.

Other times, parents need help because their child is having a hard time and it’s impacting family life. Maybe they’re struggling with changes at home or elsewhere. They might be easily overwhelmed and reactive. Perhaps they’re acting out feelings in ways that aren’t safe. They may have difficulty with separation or with doing things independently.

Regardless of the specifics, family life doesn’t feel as fulfilling or harmonious as it could.

Together, we’ll help you realign with your family vision and create more calm + connection in daily life, by:

  • Clarifying your goals and values
  • Deepening insight into your experience + understanding your child’s perspective
  • Learning practical, evidence-based practices for meaningful shifts
  • Building an environment and rhythms that support greater harmony

I provide a warm, compassionate and supportive space where parents feel safe to share openly and lighten the load they’re carrying.

At the same time, parents seek support because they’re ready for change. Drawing on my training in educational and developmental psychology, along with a strong understanding of attachment, I help parents view their concerns through a new lens. We explore what’s happening beneath the feelings and behaviours, and develop a tailored approach to create positive shifts.

Parenting support can help you:

  • Understand your child’s inner world and emotions
  • Recognise the needs underlying their behaviour
  • Build a strong foundation for secure attachment

  • Develop confidence in connection-focused discipline
  • Develop supportive rhythms + routines
  • Clarify your values + feel more aligned
  • Recognise beliefs impacting your parenting experience
  • Understand + manage triggers
  • Manage your emotions to you can support your child with theirs

  • Rediscover joy and fulfilment

Approach

I work collaboratively with parents, building on existing strengths. You’ll gain practical tools and skills that support both your wellbeing and your child’s, while strengthening your relationship. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, confident, and clear.

Though my therapeutic style is warm, supportive and empathetic, I also offer clear structure and direction. Together, we set goals to guide our work and give us a shared focus. I may also offer helpful resources between sessions to support your progress.

At the same time, I recognise that life isn’t always straightforward- there will be ups and downs. In each session, I meet you where you are, while keeping the bigger picture of your growth in mind. This allows you the freedom to share openly, reflect deeply, and develop meaningful insights. You can find out more about my approach using the button below.
