We all have ideas of the kind of parent we’d like to be and the family life we’d like to create. Yet, everyday life doesn’t always align with those expectations.
Parents seek support with me because there are things about family life that feel challenging, and they’re tired of struggling alone.
Sometimes, parents don’t feel they’re showing up in the way they want. They feel more stressed, frustrated, anxious, or overwhelmed than they’d like. They might be feeling easily triggered by their child’s feelings or behaviours. Or they might be full of self-doubt and feelings of not being ‘good enough’. They also may not agree with their partner on how to parent well.
Other times, parents need help because their child is having a hard time and it’s impacting family life. Maybe they’re struggling with changes at home or elsewhere. They might be easily overwhelmed and having frequent meltdowns or big reactions. Perhaps they’re acting out their feelings in ways that aren’t safe for others – kicking, hitting, biting, or breaking things. They may have difficulty with separation or with doing things independently.
Regardless of the specifics, family life doesn’t feel as fulfilling or harmonious as it could.

I help parents re-align with their family vision and move toward more connection + peace in daily life.
Parents need a safe space where they feel comfortable opening up about their challenges. I offer warmth, compassion, and encouragement so mums and dads can share their experiences and feel able to offload some of the weight they’re carrying.
At the same time, parents seek support because they’re ready for change. Drawing on my training in educational and developmental psychology, along with a strong understanding of attachment, I help parents view their concerns through a new lens. We explore what’s happening beneath the feelings and behaviours, and develop a tailored approach to create positive shifts.
I work collaboratively with parents, building on their existing strengths. Together, we develop skills using evidence-based practices that support both parent and child wellbeing, while strengthening connection within the family. My goal is for parents to leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, confident, and clear.

Though my therapeutic style is warm, supportive and empathetic, I also offer clear structure and direction. Together, we set goals to guide our work and give us a shared focus. I may also offer helpful resources between sessions to support your progress.
At the same time, I recognise that life isn’t always straightforward- there will be ups and downs. In each session, I meet you where you are, while keeping the bigger picture of your growth in mind. 02. welcome pack
Before your first session I’ll ask you to complete a simple questionnaire about your concerns. You’ll also receive a welcome pack including information on how to schedule + access online sessions.
03. sessions
We’ll spend the first session getting clear on what your goals are and understanding your strengths and challenges. Subsequent sessions will focus on tailored support that helps you progress towards your goals.
04. check in
I offer a half-fee 30 minute “check in” appointment for clients who have completed a series of sessions in the past 6 months and would like to follow up with further questions, guidance, information or encouragement.
