Single session online parenting help
Are you navigating a challenging season in parenting?
Maybe you’re going back to work and wondering how you’re going to settle your sensitive child into childcare? Or perhaps you’re expecting another baby and worried how your older child might manage.
You may be struggling with a new chapter of parenting or simply want answers to your questions about child development, behaviour, or managing emotions.
Whatever it is you’re experiencing, you’re having a hard time making sense of what to do next. You’re feeling lost or anxious and like the suggestions you get from friends and family don’t quite fit.
Asking a professional can help.
It may feel stressful and uncertain now, but you can find clarity. You can figure out the next steps. You can feel confident and supported. And I can help you get there.
An online parenting help session enables you do 3 things:
- Better understand the nature of the problem or transition you’re facing
- Feel supported in making sense of the emotions you and your child is experiencing
- Learn specific tools that will help you navigate the situation and move forward with clarity and confidence
I’ll help through this process, tailoring my support to your unique needs and circumstances. I know parents carry a lot of guilt and it can feel vulnerable reaching out for help. My approach to working with parents comes from a place of compassion: believing that neither you nor your child are the “problem”- you’re simply needing some support and guidance to change where you’re at.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but today the village is harder to come by. It’s time to get the parenting support you need to move forward.

Got questions? Here’s some answers.
what types of issues are suited to an online parenting help session?
This type of single-session support is best aligned with simple problems or questions where you’re having difficulty figuring out where to start or what to do. It’s a more solutions-focused approach where we explore options, learn evidence-based information about a specific challenge or stage of development, and come up with a simple plan for next steps. If you’re wanting to deep-dive into anything, receive ongoing support as you make changes, or develop a more comprehensive plan for nurturing a strong connection throughout childhood, I’d recommend looking at my parenting support packages.
what are parenting help sessions like?
Firstly, we discuss your concerns and get a good understanding of what you’re experiencing. We determine what you’re hoping to achieve and identify some of the factors to consider. I’ll use my expertise in child development, attachment theory, psychology and counselling skills to support this process. We then make a tailored plan for next steps including tools you can use to make changes towards your goal.
how long do i get support for?
These are one-off support sessions. You can of course book another as a follow-up down the line, but these sessions aren’t intended for parent coaching or therapy. For longer, more tailored support where you can troubleshoot problems or questions that arise as you’re making changes, see my longer term parenting support services or enrol in the 8-week Circle of Security® Parenting™ group I offer.
